Seth Ellis is Director at Tripp Scott, P.A.  Prior to joining Tripp Scott, Seth was the Managing Partner of a boutique estate planning group located in Boca Raton, Florida and Plymouth, Massachusetts.

Mr. Ellis takes a personal approach to both the management of his practice and the application of law.  He believes that the practice of estate planning is a truly personal and each client’s situation is unique. In estate planning, we deal with family matters, finances and worst-case scenarios and this requires a personal approach. In order to effectively carry out trust and estates counseling, we need to establish a level of trust with our clients and listen to our client’s needs.

Mr. Ellis is active in the Palm Beach County through his involvement in many local charities and several national charitable organizations. He is currently serving his first term as a director of the Alzheimer Foundation of America on its national board.  Mr. Ellis just completed a two year term as the Chairman of the Board of the Haven in Boca Raton, Florida and now serves on the South County Leadership Advisory Council for the Place of Hope at the Haven Campus.  He is a member of the Business & Professional Division Leadership Cabinet for the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County and a member of Professional Advisory Committee of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County.  He was nominated in 2009 to receive the “2009 Biggest Heart Award” at the Men with Caring Hearts Awards presentation.  In addition, he is a member of the Boca Raton Estate Planning Council.

A Massachusetts native, Mr. Ellis attended Union College in Schenectady, NY before earning his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.  Mr. Ellis earned his LL.M. in Estate Planning at the University Of Miami School Of Law where he later taught as an adjunct professor.  You can reach Seth at: see@trippscott.com

Barry is a thirty eight year resident of South Florida and graduate from the University of Miami (UM). Barry,  in his sophomore year,  began what eventually was going to be the beginning stages of his career by working for one of the top ten Anheuser- Busch (A-B) Distributors in the country as their College Marketing Representative. Barry’s duties were to focus on brand integration and marketing to cultivate UM students to become long term brand loyalists to Bud products. That turned into a 13 year growth endeavor where Barry was responsible for all South Florida on- premise account business, marketing, branding, special events, all sports teams/properties and venues. Barry also led the initiatives for national events in South Florida which included three NFL Super Bowls, the BCS College Football Championships, the NBA All-Star game and other high profile events.

Barry took his A-B experience and was instrumental in helping build the Homestead-Miami Speedway (HMS), one of the premier racing facilities in the country after Hurricane Andrew devastated South Florida in the 90’s. HMS now plays host to the Super Bowl of auto racing in crowning the Sprint Cup NASCAR Champion at the season’s finale race. After the sale of the Speedway to the France family, founders of NASCAR, Barry became the Vice President of Sales for Clear Results Marketing, the non-traditional marketing arm of Clear Channel Communications for three years before opening his own Marketing, Event, VIP Hospitality and Sales Agency. Over the past 18 years, Innovative Group (www.MyInnovativeGroup,com) has enjoyed a fine pedigree of client partners such as the NFL, American Express, Turner Broadcasting (TNT Sports), AOL, FedEx, NBC, ADT Security Services, ESPN, Diageo and Chase to name a few.

It was through one of Barry’s night club clients that garnered his interest in the hospitality business and for the past ten years Barry has enjoyed being a part of the nightlife and restaurant industry in South Florida and Jacksonville, Florida.

Barry is involved and committed with a multitude of philanthropic causes such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Irie Foundation and Alonzo Mourning Charities amongst others. Additionally,  he serves on the board for The Miami-Dade Sport Commission. Most notable becoming the youngest member voted to the prestigious Orange Bowl Committee (OBC) in 79 years and has continued his various OBC positions for the past 19 years. Barry is the Past President just completing his two-year term for the South Florida Chapter of the Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) that represents $1.2B in entrepreneurial businesses and is current Chairman of EO Nerve 2017, a four day Regional Learning Event. Barry is a three-year graduate of the Entrepreneurial Masters Program hosted at MIT.

Barry is married to Michele Kates and together they boast a family of four, Justin (26), Emily (13), Alexa (12) and Kylie (2).

Caryn Saitz has been an entrepreneur for over 25 years and has created and sold several companies over that time frame including Barrels of Fun, Masters of the Web, and The Volunteerist. She started her career with Liz Claiborne Accessories and built a sales organization that took sales from $0-7.5M in just a few years.

Caryn’s experience spans many industries with significant experience and contacts in life sciences, technology financial services, retail, education and government. Caryn has an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA from Brandeis University with a concentration in Politics and Urban Studies.

As an entrepreneur, Caryn has gravitated to working with entrepreneurs as she has a keen understanding of their needs, challenges and pace. She has worked with EO (Entrepreneurs Organization) and YPO (Young Presidents Organization) for over 11 years helping these member led organizations create and execute retreats, events, sponsorship, and recruit and retain new members. Her love of travel and creating experiences has been honed with these organizations and her corporate clients.

Darren began as a creative artist and eventually lead illustrator for auto racing giant NASCAR/International Speedway Corp. Darren spearheaded creative branding and advertising efforts for large-scale events and facilities like the Daytona 500, Pepsi 400, Talladega Superspeedway and Daytona International Speedway. His creative works appeared in numerous national media outlets both in the United States and abroad.

In 1990, Darren relocated to South Florida and served as Art Director for a large commercial printer and later embraced his entrepreneurial spirit by forming his own independent, full-service advertising agency in 1994. After quickly growing the young company to a large staff and solid financials, Darren sold the company in 1998.

Darren created Peak Seven Advertising in 1999 with the core capabilities of branding, marketing, and extremely strong digital backbone delivering strategy, concepts and lead generation solutions. Scott Silver is the managing partner of Silver Law Group and a passionate advocate for investors.  He is a recognized leader in securities arbitration and litigation.  Scott focuses his law practice on representing individual investors and institutions in claims against brokerage firms, investment advisors, commodities firms, hedge funds and others.  Scott also routinely serves as counsel to receivers and trustees in matters relating to the recovery of investor losses in Ponzi schemes.  Scott has also served as counsel in several high profile plaintiff-side class actions.

Scott has extensive experience in arbitration before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the National Futures Association (NFA), and the American Arbitration Association (AAA).  He has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of aggrieved investors through arbitration and the courts.  Scott has represented clients throughout the United States as well as in Europe, South America, Israel, and elsewhere.

Scott is a frequent lecturer and author on securities and investment fraud matters.  He has lectured at University of Miami School of Law, Albany Law School’s Securities Arbitration Clinic, PIABA and at many securities arbitration seminars, bar conferences and industry meetings.  Scott also frequently contributes to various publications and has authored numerous articles relating to investors and the arbitration process.
